Hemp smell/look (the non THC version)

hakimg Registered on Jun-03-2002 More User Info Message #736 posted by hakimg (Info) June 03, 2002 13:35:58 ET does industrial hemp have the same smell as marijuana? im asking that cause for a school project im growing some hemp and i got the seeds from the kitchen (we have them cause of their nutrional value) and, maybe its just my imagination, but they are getting THE smell (maybe the cook gave me some seeds from his own stash ;-) and besides that is there any way of finding if its hemp or marijuana? hakos

Industrial hemp has the same smell as dope and it does look like it. But as industrial hemp has been GM its quite a tall lanky plant. It does still have buds just not as big and thick etc etc as usual marijuana. I started out growing industrial hemp and i have a few pics some where, i will post them as soon as i find them but if you look at industrial hemp and a marijuana plant you will see the difference. hope this is some help to you, sorry if some of it doesntmake that much sense!! i'll post some pics soon!!! chris

To find out if it's hemp or marijuana - smoke when dry-then you will know.
