This photo shows the tubing "dripper" that is attached to the multiplexer dripper. I've used 1/4" tubing connected with a ribbed T connector. Holes were burned into the circular tubing with a red-not nail (point flattened so I did not burn through both walls of the tubing). The assembly fits around the plant and is anchored with the plastic stakes to the surface of the pot. I kept all connecting hoses for the tubbing dripper the same length--this is only important if your pump is underpowered. If the pump is underpowered, water will drip mostly from the emmitter with the shortest connecting hose. Moral=keep all the same length or use or more powerful pump, or both. I didn't save the information on pump capacity, but this one is about 120 gal/hour. In my main grow room (8 emmitters), I use a pump with a rating of about 160-180 gal/hr. I only run the pump for a few minutes 6 times per 24 hours. You can buy an electronic programmable timer with 15 amp capacity (more than enough to run two pumps) for about $25 US. The brand I located at the local hardware supply sotre was the Intermatic Digital 7 Day Programmable Timer.
